A secret team member doubled down on an awesome historically kitschy pass-it-on project.
Greeting cards pictured with images from historic Reno, Animal Ark and other local sources were stamped and handed out with project instructions. Cool cards. The project invited community members to take the card, write a happy note to someone, and drop it in the mailbox — postage included.
Volunteers were excited to take part in the project. Everyone gladly accepted.
And the happiness was definitely a two-for-one deal — both sender and recipient. The happy note writer felt the joy they were sending, and the note will be a happy surprise in the recipient’s mailbox.
Two-for-one. Happiness is contagious.
