Among the endless flood of signs stuck everywhere on lawns and sides of roads throughout the city, undercover happy agents rallied on the streets of Reno with a few civic signs of their own.
Agents gathered Saturday afternoon at the Reno Star sculpture, at the intersection of S. Virginia St. and S. McCarran Blvd., one of the city’s busiest intersections.
The group hand-crafted their own signs with cheery messages and encouraging words. Agents then waved, and danced, and paraded their signs along the sidewalks in front of hundreds of Reno drivers and passersby. The colorful signs seemed to cheer on citizens and promoted a season of happiness. Many drivers honked and waved in response to the signs, and loads of smiles were reported.
